Hola! :)

Finally, my very own blogspot! wooot! This is actually gonna be my sort of temporary portfolio online not until i've created my own site. Nonetheless i'm pretty sure that the blog will do just fine for now. :) So what should you expect? well, you'll see a collection of selected works that i've done through the years as a senior art director from McCann Erickson, a multimedia aficionado using Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Premiere, and Macromedia Director; and as an occasional graphic designer or creative director for special projects. My blog should give you an idea of my approach to design and art direction so feel free to let me know what ya think about it. Good or bad, im sure it'll help me one way or another :) So welcome and enjoy! :)

One of my fave works I art directed where i explored new ways of shooting with ice and "sweat beads". This came out on print and had a billboard placement along SLEX. Yeah! Nothing beats seeing yer work in uber large format. Thanks to Genie Arambulo of AdPhoto for simply being open to new ideas!

These are the studies i made for an ice cream brand while i was still at McCann. What's pretty cool is that no actual shots were taken of the elements. they're all images enhanced by light and shadow creating the illusion of realism. :P

Here's another logo i developed for the printing off-shoot company of a good friend of mine.

Ah yes! This is the logo i developed for the skin care group, Nisce. A fast growing skin and facial clinic that's brought in pretty advance skin care tech in the country:) cool!:)

Woohoo! Here is a classic found off my archive. I developed this logo for a Christmas campaign while i was still in McCann for Close-Up. The campaign had a tvc as well as other collaterals to spice up the season :)

This is the Philippine Army theme logo for 2008. Development involved calendars, stickers, and billboards. I am also proud to have been given a chance to be able to "indirectly" do some work in honor of my grandfather, the father of the Scout Rangers, Gen. Rafael "Rocky" Ileto. :) We miss ya!

One of my recent works from McCann which won us the pitch for a new product of Coke. I created and developed the visual identity as well as the look for the prints. Bravo Nikki Paqueo for agreeing to be our talent for the drinking shot! Ya rOcK! :)

The corporate logo i made for La Cora Creatives, Inc., the new bag company offshoot of the renowned Cora Jacobs of the 1980's :)

This is the template look i created for a bag design company La Cora Creatives, Inc. This was cascaded down to many other materials from calling cards, line sheets, tarps, a mini-brochure, etc.

These are the pages for the mini brochure i made for La Cora Creatives, Inc. I did the photography, art direction and layout. Wonderful and colorful bags eh?:) Fantastic! :)

The cascaded down line sheets developed for their website and marketing needs.:)

The evolution look of the world's greatest OCCI Leap batch 34.:) Eventually cascaded down to a souvenir program, tickets for the performance eve at the CCP, stickers, video loop, and the logo itself.

My very first children's book project in collaboration with my friend Jessica Encomienda. Twas fun, enlightening and something i look forward to doing again!:)

Some studies i made for a Shell annual report/CD.

My proposal for the Store outlet look. ahhh... hope one day they reconsider.. hehe...:)

Coke goes magical! :)

Ooooh... never ending logos... hehe..:)

The most beautiful flowers around!:) Did the corporate logo, calling card, and tarp for their opening day.

Another logo i created for the promo of Coke. Many changes were done from this initial compre. Of course, i still prefer this one hehe..:)

This was the original compre I did for the intrinsic billboard. Wasn't quite happy with how the FA was done since it was quite different but well, I'll charge that to experience. Waaa! :)

One of my most recent works for the Buksan Mo campaign. My design was cascaded down to cans and other products of Coke. Awesome to have seen the graphic rendition in different formats around town :)

Here are some of the Christmas renditions of the Coke Side of Life i made. You'll notice that even such a minor fix can change the mood and tone of the whole scene.

Oh yes. My fave and the very first one i came up with for the music theme. Too "stylized" for clients but nonetheless i'm gonna have this printed on a shirt! Wooot! :)

The Buksan Mo or "Coke Side of Life" campaign was such a fun theme to work with. With positivity and creativity as the energy behind it. I came up with various designs and looks from the idea that anything and everything positive, fun and creative, all begins with a Coca-Cola (...and a smile, of course! :)) Enjoy! :)
